Carrying on from my late father who sadly passed away in 2022, MY FATHER PEADAR sold leather goods in the 90s to shops and businesses throughout Ireland.

I remember making leather belts at a very young age in his shed in Co. Offaly and there was always something about the smell of leather that I’ve always loved.

After my Da passed away, I began to look at ways to keep the tradition going so I got in contact with suppliers that he dealt with. After some research and after spending a lot of time looking through his old phonebook, I began to build connections with people who knew him and who dealt with him over the years.

I now only stock the finest quality Italian hide along with solid brass buckles and screws, I use the old traditional strap cutters to rip down my belts (just like my Da did) and burnish all my edges with tokonole and locally sourced beeswax. I take so much care when crafting my goods just to ensure that they will have the same quality as the ones that Peadar made.
